连涛副研究员入选浙江省“151”人才工程

       近日浙江省人力资源和社会保障厅发布2017年省151人才工程第三层次培养人员名单,我实验室连涛副研究员入选并获得经费资助。

       连涛副研究员的研究工作集中于热带海气相互作用,特别是厄尔尼诺-南方涛动的机制。主持国家自然科学基金、浙江省自然科学基金等课题。曾与陈大可院士合作在Nature Geoscience上发文,提出了一种全新的厄尔尼诺分类框架,指出西风爆发是导致厄尔尼诺多样性,极端性,和与拉尼娜之间非对称性的本质原因,基于该框架,阐明了2014年未发生超级厄尔尼诺的原因,并指出了2015/2016极端厄尔尼诺的成因;明确了厄尔尼诺的基本模态,对前人发现的几个与厄尔尼诺相关的气候模态提出了挑战。他提出了一种判定长期趋势不确定性的新方法,并表明现有的海表温度资料长度不足以判定全球大部分区域如何对全球变暖响应。近五年共发表论文11篇,专著1部(章)。其中作为第一和唯一作者发表于Journal of Climate、Geophysical Research Letters、Climate Dynamics等SCI论文6篇,并引起广泛的学术关注。
